6 tips to help you manage your Eczema Symptoms

                MY STORY

Dealing with Eczema is no fun, I know because of my own experience . After having my son , i started to get weeping eczema in my inner arms and thighs . It’s was first time I ever experience eczema in LIFE! “

It was so itchy and red and slightly bloody . I didn’t know it was eczema at first I bought over the counter itch cream and it made it worse 🤦🏽‍♀️

After that I started to do some research on natural eczema remedies and I got really obsessed because I wanted to help my eczema symptoms desperately .

I realized apart of the healing had to do with my diet “from eating anything I want eating while pregnant craving ect”  so I had go back to my whole food vegan lifestyle which  played a huge role .

Then I created my Heal me up Butter it was literally heaven sent 🙌🏽, I used it every day and it literally gave me back my confidence . Eventually with my diet changes and consistent use I am proud to say today I don’t have Eczema . Well atleast I’m not claiming it , no flare ups since 🤞🏾

Also I know that most cases of Eczema have very strong symptoms so your eczema may not be like the one I had but it’s definitely natural  ways to calm the symptoms and help you feel good in your Skin.

Here are 6 tips  below to help with your symptoms.

1 – Moisturize Daily

Eczema is caused by a genetic irregularity that weakens the skin’s protective barrier, allowing moisture out and irritants in. Restoring and maintaining the skin’s moisture levels is key to minimizing the symptoms of eczema. The biggest mistake most people with eczema make is not moisturizing enough. Daily moisturizing really cannot be skipped. For best results, apply moisturizer to mildly damp skin after getting out of the shower. You should really moisturize at least one other time during the day. And, in winter months, the dry air inside the house can really strip moisture off of the skin, so consider using a humidifier to maintain the home’s moisture levels.

2 – Adjust Your Bathing Habits

It’s important to keep your skin clean and free of irritants, but long, hot baths and showers can actually trigger eczema flareups. Avoid hot showers, long bubble baths, and harsh antibacterial soaps (e.g. Dial). Instead, use all natural soap with few ingredients. Like our Hibiscus hemp and Aloe detox bar . They help relieve the symptoms well.

3 – Review Your Landry Routine

While skincare products, soaps, perfumes, and cosmetics are all notorious for irritating eczema-prone skin, laundry detergents are actually a major underlying cause of eczema flareups. Wash new clothes before wearing to avoid irritation from chemicals, dyes, and other products used on clothing during the manufacturing process. Avoid fabric softeners altogether as these can be irritating, and always use a hypoallergenic, gentle laundry detergent like All Free and Clear.

4 – Review the Ingredients List

We could go through a whole list of ingredients that are good or bad for the skin of eczema sufferers, but when it comes to managing eczema symptoms, less is more. Look for products that have few, natural ingredients. According to If you see a list of chemicals, fragrances, and dyes, the odds are, the product will irritate your skin. Fragrance especially can be irritating to the skin, so you need to find products without fragrance. Don’t forget that ‘unscented’ doesn’t mean fragrance-free. Look for labels that clearly state the product is free of all fragrance.

5 – Choose the Right Anti-Itch Products

Itch is one of the main symptoms of eczema, but not all anti-itch products are right for those struggling with eczema. Some can cause drowsiness and make skin worse In some cases . So definitely try to use toxic free ingredients that will sooth your skin with out causing more irritation. Sometimes the simplest ingredients can make such a huge difference.

6 - Diet

Eating less dairy to no dairy can help because dairy is very inflammatory to the bodies system and causes flare ups . Try to stay away from highly processed sugary foods because the amount of candida in your gut plays a bog role in your skins heath . Also drink plenty of water !
